Fantastic sour. One of my favorites.
Very sour in my opinion, I love it ! Will buy this again if I have the chance .
Sour, but rich and fruity. Not unlike drinking wine!
After a few sips I thought I was drinking wine not beer
Tastes like medicine
Nicely sour, tangy fruit flavor that is mild but doesn’t get overpowered. Definitely give it a try.
Solid. Great balance. The fruit is very interesting and unique. Taste like multiple fruits in one.
It is VERY sour. If super sour is your thing, you’d love this. It’s super flavorful.
Tart/Sour. Very sour. Did I mention it was SOUR?
They nailed it! I want a second drink.
Not bad, feel like I was drinking tart unripe fruit.
I don’t know what a Haskap berry is but I want to try one now. Really good sour with great berry flavor.
Awesome bottle and art, great winey notes with a berry finish similar to raspberry. Very good barrel aged sour
Sour, is quite the understatement. The oak barrel flavors shine throughout as well. The berry kick is wonderful.
Never had this fruit before, very different. Kinda like a generic natural.berry flavor, very good. Nice bretty funk. Excellent beer
One of my all time favorite sours! Glad I bought two, but wish I drank the second bottle sooner. It poured a darker color that displayed 2nd time around
A little too tart for me, but very fruity. Tastes a too much like vinegar for me
An amazingly funky sour ale, bottle conditioned with Haskap berries from Alaska. Aged on Missouri oak, this has just the right amount of tart fruit flavors that go well with a turkey dinner. Another great beer from Gabe & Co!
A bit too sour for Mee taste eh!
Good!! Extremely tart, fruit explosion!
So damn good!
Starting to realize why this is one of the most talked about breweries in the US
It’s Anchorage... drink it
I thought it was only ok
Tart and delicious
Absolutely amazing. A little too easy drinking, for 7%. None of that overwhelming pucker sour here.
Wowza. Sour and well done.
Pretentious name by a pretentious brewery for a pretentious beer. But it was good!
Wowsers, CHINGOWSERS! Tart and delicious 🤤
Deep, deep color, like red wine. On a hike, pluck a tart wild raspberry, right on the cusp between ripe and unripe. Not too sour, not too too sweet, although it does leave a nubbin of sugar clot in the throat if guzzled too greedily.
Very sour the barrels age i is heavily present in the final product
Literally the most sour ale ive ever come across! Outstanding berry flavor that is difficult to describe or even understand. The fermation from being aged 10 months in the oak foeder is quite noticeable. Fizzy, sour, berry and tart! A wondrful sour ale to the core!
Sour, but not overwhelmingly so. The haskap berry is a great flavor and very unique. Not as thick as it looks in the pic.
This was a pretty good sour, haskap berries tasted like a raspberry mixed with other kinds of berries. Would drink again.
If your seeking something special no doubt this is a flavor to savor
Daily corona battle. Screaming kids edition. Pours a beautiful ruby, starts tart but sweet and smooth. Finishes with smooth tartness. Anchorage good and well done. Oak aging is apparent but not overwhelming.
This is a beer everyone should try!!! It’s insane, I’ve never had a sour kiwi beer and the blueberry finish is so bold mmmm absolutely delicious definitely will buy again!
Not much if any barrel but a very nice sour just the same.
Interesting but not my thing. A bottle of Red wine would be an alternative
Honest to god, as an Alaskan native, these folks absolutely nailed the haskap berry flavor twisted with that oaky aged barrel finish. I know this isn't for everybody, but if you've got an open mind and see this around, I highly recommend grabbing a few to kick back with. Definitely my favorite to come from AK brewing so far!
Very tart initially, then I get the fruit flavor. Kind of tastes like a more tart blackberry.
Sweet, sour berry What the heck is a haskap? Leave my mouth tarty
Awesome, awesome, awesome. Really pissed I didn’t buy more. Has a very unique flavor close to a pomegranate. 10/5 stars.
I’m not one for barrel aged but this was was sweet and tart and the oaky taste wasn’t overpowering ! Really good
I now have absolute faith in Anchorage. They know how to select amazing ingredients to create even better ales. The flavors and sours of this ale gave me goosebumps and left my tastebuds asking for more. With a vinegar like finish, I am very sad that I only got 1 bottle of this :(
This was amazing. So tart and it reminded me of drinking cranberry juice! I’m glad I got a few of these.
A perfect true sour, in my opinion. The light haskap berry flavor was delightful. Wish I had bought more.
Tangy and fizzy, a great sour. More of a vinegary sour but not bitter. Sweet in a natural way, not too sweet. Great haskap berry flavor, it is very unique. This is a great sour with a very unique flavor.
Strong tart opening. Was almost too much; but after that initial burst subsided, the berry flavor was super smooth. Refreshing sour finish. Overall, this was a fantastic sour ale.
This may be a little sour for most taste and flavor that comes from the fruit is amazing. I hope to be able to snatch this up again if it's ever offered on here
Very refreshing and crisp fruity beer.
Sooo delicious. I hope it becomes available again so I can order more, I made the mistake of only getting one
Tart, sour, berry, wild, delectable, enjoyable with a pungent cheese
The haskap berries leave a subtle unique flavor with a pinch of bitterness. Delicious!
Anchorage has the best label designs hands down. Great beer to boot.
Sour symphony of fruity nectar.
one of my tops
