About This Beer

The team started with a diverse grain bill, including Belgian Pilsner, Pale ale, Special B, and Cara malts. Then they added new-school Loral Hops — prized for their blend of modern characteristics and classic Noble Hop flavors — and time-honored Styrian Golding Hops. Finally, they fermented it with a traditional Trappist yeast.

Tasting Notes

The resulting brew is boldly flavorful, with notes of caramel, freshly baked bread, and honey-drizzled biscuit. Hints of date and fig tumble through the pour, while a touch of bitterness and subtle citrusy nuances from the hops make for a complex finish.

Rich, roasty, malty and sweet. Slight metallic punch right at the beginning, but overall it’s a really nice quad.

Rich malty mahagony aroma. Deep deep notes of figs, and fates, and sweet caramelized malt. This is quite the meal in a glass.

Aroma of brown sugar, cherries, raisins, and toffee. Very malt forward taste with caramel and toffee. Light notes of alcohol and a very subtle hoppiness on the back end.
