A beer for sour lovers. Very tart with berry waves
crisp, clean, and sour enough to pucker a whole crowd of people
Definitely not ready for sours, yet!
Atomic tartness. Like a plate of authentic thai chili spiced food, it's a little overwhelming at first; you can't taste anything but the heat. But, if you stand your ground, sit with the feeling for a little, the next few bites will unleash the intensely pleasurable cornucopia of flavors enhanced and bolstered by the bird eyed pepper's scarlet kiss. This sour beer knows exactly who it is, and confidently asserts its profound pucker power, right from the word "go". The blackberry flavor is pure and authentic. It's not afraid to be bold, but it backs it up with a fantastic fruity body. It nails the balance of sour, sweet, and tart, it just turns it up a little more than most sours.
Pucker up, buttercup. This one will make sour patch kids seems like child's play. Crisp and light, it is pretty okay. Not my favorite sour, but fun to try!
Flavor is of tart citrus and berry, maybe some green apple and sour grape, and a mild cracker malt undertone. Very refreshing, pretty tart, and generally easy drinking. The berry flavor is very fresh and natural. Pretty top notch kettle sour. I have to be in the right mood for beers this tart, but the quality isn't in dispute.
As expected, this was very tart. Dry and crisp. The natural blackberry has a very nice flavor and rounds off the finish.
Wonderfully ripe and sour tasting ale
A bit too sour imo, like not fully ripe blackberries
just a bit too sour for my taste
Great balance between the acidity of blackberry and funk.
Taste like candy! My boyfriend is a big sour buff and he’s IN LOVE! Very good!!!
A bit too tart for personal preference but it was well done
So sour! Tastes like a warhead
Very sour has a war head taste to it.
BP crushes it with these fruited kettle sours
Super sour! (But in a good way)
Tasty. This is a sour to drink many times over
I love super sour beers and blackberries so this is right up my alley
A little too sour and not enough blackberry. More lake a very tart cider.
A lil too advanced for me, still. Trying to treat it like a very dry cider, which helps
Very sour, but in a good way! Really easy to drink
Blackberry flavor comes through strongly. Very tart yet easily drinkable. Bright and refreshing with a sharp bite.
Decently sour, but needs more blackberry. Very refreshing
BP has plenty of better stuff

Light bodied and tartness outweighs the blackberry fruit. Definitely not a fruit smoothie. Puckeringly refreshing.
Nice tasting Sour Ale
So I know this is a sour, but it's so sour that any Blackberry flavor gets completely lost. Very light and very tart. Definitely not a jammer by any means. Tastes like a concentrated kettle sour base. Reminds me of 90's super sour candy like Warheads, Crybabys and Toxic Waste. You could totally rebrand this as any of the above and you'd get 5 stars all day long.
Taste like a bag of sour skittles
Super sour(in a good way), tart blackberry flavor. Good color and carbonation. Would buy again.
Its hot great flavours. A really nice ale feeling. Black project kills. They are freaking fantastic and I'm buying everything I see of them.
sharp and tangy. I havnt always been a huge fan of sours but I would buy this again
This was lemonade-puckering sour, but you ease into it. Beautiful purple color.
Got this in a pack and were intrigued by the spontaneous idea. Most beers we have had are from across the pond and have some deep fruity and berry notes. This one not as much. Look: poured this into an imperial pint glass. Berry colored (deep pink to start then light red). Light finger sized head that dissipated quickly. No lacing. Smell: berry, sour, a little funky (almost farmhouse like) notes Taste: sour and acidic on the front, berry in the middle, deep sour and funky on the trailing end, funk and berry on the trailing end, then it just dies... a little crisp like on the end because it fades and leaves nothing Feel: thin, sour, heavy carbonation (almost like a wine cooler) Overall its kind of meh... I will say that we are not much of a farmhouse kinda people, but the smell and taste closely match. If there were more berry to counter the acidic sour then this might be OK. I do love the experimentation with wild yeast and the sense of science + play the brewery does. Cheers!
Fun to try but a little one dimensional for me, also fairly acidic.
Average sour with tarty black berries ... this type of sour is not for me
Good sour, tart and fruity
