Tasted like someone poured lousy vodka into an okay stout
My boss said it was Delicious it was a great gift
Excellent flavor and taste .
Rich, smooth, boozy.
Boozy indeed, but smooth and flavorful. Great with a cigar!
Great beer. Definitely packs a punch but downright delicious.
Milk and mild cocoa one sip. Vanilla and bourbon the next. Very complex beer in a really good way.
Bourbon forward. Rich, creamy, and sweet. Excellent choice for lovers of bourbon stouts.
Very thin. Didn’t get a lot of barrel or adjunct coming through
Thin, not much complexity. Expected more barrel to come through
Not too bad. Nice chocolatey flavours. Little bitterness on the end notes, but leaves way to a nice bourbon taste.
Nice and boozy, good barrel.
Very complex notes with the barrel aging and consented this beer to be a nice sipper.
Pours really thin and almost looks like a dark red. But whatever it lacks in appearance is blowing me away with it's vanilla, cinnamon and hints of chili flavors. Really impressive. If the base Stout was just a bit heavier, this would be a 5 cap beer.
If I could find more Alesong brews I would by them all.
Bourbon. Strong dark. Very good on a cold night.
Good but not as good as the Senor rhino
This is good. It might be the best milk stout I have ever had. It’s well balanced with notes of coco, booze, and toffee. Really good mouth feel. I wish I had one to age two or three years.
Excellent flavor and taste, and extremely smooth. A very complex stout!
Very pleasant BA stout. Nothing crazy, but nothing too bad.
Nice, smooth, well balanced stout.
The punch of the bourbon huts with every sip. I think someone who enjoys dark beers and bourbon would appreciate this the most. The other flavors due get a bit overpowered by the alcohol but it still goes down smooth. Something to be sipped and savored.
Nothing special. Stranger citrus flavor in the finish.
I was honestly a bit disappointed. It’s not bad by any means, but based on Tavour’s description I was expecting to be blown away. It had a good medium-heavy, silky mouthfeel with healthy vanilla notes up front. A bit of cacao and very subtle coffee flavor. Has a bright feel that shows up if it sits in your tongue and lingers for a while.
Not really my favorite company for stouts so ill just leave a middle review as to not bring the rating down.
Smoothed out from aging a few years no doubt. Excellent sweetness and mouthfeel from the milk addition which has only thickened with age, booze is tapered as well from bottle aging. Small orange citrus burst and bitterness in finish which is welcoming after the bourbon oak char and chocolate.
