A Note on This Beer
You’ve probably heard of The Bruery. These 8x GABF winners are huge in the world of craft! You may have even seen a bottle or two pop up in your local shop.
But have you scored a taste from their hop-focused spinoff called Offshoot Beer Co.?
Probably not, because this Bruery hop-eration is less than 2 years old, and their cans are mighty hard to find without heading out to the West Coast. Heck, even in their native land of California these guys are tough to come by.
But once you tell you’re crafty buds that you scored some cans of today’s Retreat (This is a Hazy Double IPA), they’ll be all ears.
Explain to them that this 4.15 UT-rated juicebomb comes from the hoppy wing of one of the country’s most celebrated breweries, and they’ll fall all over themselves for a taste. And once they get a sip, they’ll keep bugging you for more until your whole stash is gone.
Open the can and you’ll know right away that Offshoot didn’t skimp on the hops. Bouncing blueberry notes from mounds of Mosaic fill the air, while Cashmere Hops add lots of lemon and lime. Finally, a massive dose of El Dorado Hops bring notes of juicy pear and drippy mango.
Snag a few cans of Retreat and be the first haze head on your block to get a sip of Offshoot. Then, be the first one to introduce your buddies to the hoppy side of The Bruery.
