Cherry sweet and a delicious sour
Taste exactly like a cherry sour from Alaska should taste. Tart but not too tart. Good beer.
Incredible nose of fresh cherry and mild funk. Palate adds waxy cherry skin, and fascinating hints of vanilla (from the oak barrel aging?). This is really delicious, absurdly drinkable and just the right mix of fruit and funk, tart and sweet to me.
Might be the best sour I’ve ever had! It was very well balanced. The cherries had a great combo of tart and sweet and I loved the subtle creaminess it had!
Nicely balanced tart-sweet with tons of tart cherry flavor. Low carbonation makes for pleasant creamy mouthfeel. Lovely!
Lots of good woody profile to this.
Something wrong with the first bottle, tastes like coconut. All the reviews are good on untapped. I think this bottle was bad. Hope the second bottle is better
A burst of cherry sweetness gives way to the bitter soft and woody spice of cherry pits. The signature funky sourness of a Farmhouse Ale comes through as well, without overpowering.
That is how a cherry sour is supposed to taste!
Best sour I have had in a long time. Love the cherry flavor. Very easy to drink.
