Like cool-aid for adults. Very sweet
Smacks you in the face with flavor. Tastes like drinking red currant juice. Just syrupy enough to tell its a mead. If it's less sweet than the black currant version, wow, I can't imagine how sweet that one is.
Impressive depth of flavour - sweet and tart raspberries, forest fruits, some earthiness and vanilla. Perhaps not as thick or sweet as Heritage
Creamy and heady, loads of berry and current, slick honey makes for a sweet mouth feel. Ends in black current that lingers sticky. Yum!
Really sweet Sipper, can smell the honey and currants in each sip. Can’t tell it’s 12%.
Tasted like wine when I first sipped it and when it went down the hatch it tasted soooo sweet like fruit so good
As someone who hates honey, this was amazing and crisp.
Like a sweet fine wine at first, then honey and berry flavor shines
Berry forward. Tasty
Very nice & sweet
Flavorful! Rich with red currant and honey.
Tart! Followed by a slight sweetness. Finished with TART! Currant-forward. Silky-smooth. Damn, that’s good.
Solid mead, but a little sweet for my tastes.
Tastes like Christmas! So rich
Just a very well balanced not too sweet. Probably one of my favorite meads.
Very drinkable. Great red current flavor.
Phenomenal mead. Currant jam honey sauce
Very sweet but taste really good
Best red currant mead made.
I am so sad I only bought one of these. It’s like an explosion to your taste buds. Skinny bottle only filled 2 wines glasses. We both were wished there were more.
very good mead
A nice thick and heavy mead!
Fruity. Boozy. A little thin.
Thick, sweet syrup with a creamy finish.
Sweet red currants. So incredibly good.
