Little can, big punch. Notes of almond on the first sip, very tasty
A big stout for International Stout Day!!
Great mouthfeel and body, not syrupy but the it felt like all the booze hit you at the very end, just a tad bit overwhelming.
Thick and silky
HEAVY notes of roasted coffee but not over powering, silky sensation on the tongue every time I take a sip & it doesn’t taste as strong as it is lol that 15.7% hits you out of nowhere
Initially punches you in the throat, but surprisingly no bitter espresso aftertaste. Real smooth
I have mixed emotions about the size of the can. I wish it was bigger but at 15.7% ABV I guess 8.45 ounce is enough. Perfect after dinner drink and it added to my food coma.
This is AWESOME
This thicc boy comes in a small package, but is a heavy-hitter, for sure! Glad I picked this one up!
This is sublime. Loaded with coffee and sweet molasses. Surprising this packs 15%+ as it’s very smooth. Too bad the can is so small.
Thick and delicious. So much goodness in a tiny can.
OMG. Just..... OMG.
This pours viscous and ebony. Aromas of dark chocolate, burnt almonds and toasted coconut. Taste is velvety and full of unsweetened cocoa, prunes, chocolate covered cherries and molasses. Fabulous imperial stout!
Thick, black, chocolatey, boozy
Roast, chocolate bitter sweetness, hop bitter, with a long lasting sweet coffee flavor. Definitely a big boy.
Bitter and burnt tasting.
Very good beer! Solid, thick. Recommend
Motor oil. Thick. Viscous. Black and dark and delicious!
So much awesome for such a tiny can
BIG almost overwhelmingly sweet and roasty. Would probably be better and more balanced if it were BBA
Delicious, smooth and has great body! I just wish is came in a bigger can! It quickly hits you which could be dangerous because it is such an easy beer to drink!
Too syrupy with zero fizz
Very smooth, not much going on beyond chocolate. Blossom of warmth in chest.
Quickly became a favorite. Lusciously decadent dessert beer, perfect size to finish the day.
Just a little too hoppy for me.
Roasty and boozy. What’s not to love? Good thing it’s only a teeny tiny can. Creepy, creepy, crawly, crawly ...
Too boozy for my liking.
Smooth for an Imperial stout. A bit bitter. Loved the tiny can.
Very heavy roast or hop, they put it in a small can because they knew nobody would want more than that.
Surprised to see wasn't extremely boozy. Enjoyable sipper
Little can packing a big punch. Huge roasty flavor
A big beer in a little can. Really good flavor.
Boozy but great taste. Not too sweet like lots of stouts these days
Very rich strong flavors
An ass kicker. Pretty smooth for as strong as it is.
Very tasty with the15.7% ABV doesn’t have extreme booziness
Dark sweet toasty
So malty, chocolatey, and smoooth!
Wow! I really thought I was drinking a black coffee! I’m glad the cans are small because after just one I was feeling it! The more I sipped the more I picked up on all the delightful flavors this stout has to offer! Best served chilled in a nice frosty glass!
Very strong alcohol smell. Strong, bitter and salty aromas. Smells almost like soy sauce and has the flavor of unsweetened, pure 100% chocolate. This is not at all for everybody, but for the very specific audience of drinkers that want very intense and pure bitterness and this beer does that very well.
Big beer in a small can!
Super thick, heavy and roasty imperial stout. Every bit a massive, boozy 15% stout. The 8 Oz cans are a huge plus.
Roasty and solid
One boozy ass beer, Quash is definitely the operative word.
Definitely packs a big punch. Glad it’s in a small can, a bit too much for what it is.
Russian quad that's got loads of roasty chocolatey malts with a boozy kick. Good thing this lil guy came in a tiny little can.🤣🤣🍺🍺
Extremely rich and immensely flavorful. Just fantastic. Do not let the small size put you off, this delicious beverage packs a great punch.
Great taste and not as heavy as one might expect for a 15.7% ABV
Wish it was a larger size for sharing with friends.
Great traditional RIS aroma with hints of hops, burnt motor oil appearance, sweetened espresso taste with subtle chocolate notes, cream oatmeal mouthfeel, and warming alcohol finish. The pony can is perfect for this 15.7% ABV behemoth.
Black as coal and thick with boozy finish! Good slow drinking in the AC before it puts you into a nap!
oh I didn’t realize it was this high abv. hidden well against the viscous stout. perfect in small cans
This is a very hoppy oatmeal Russian stout. It has a solid middle of the road (not light or heavy) body & a very boozy sweet roasty & hoppy flavor. It honestly tastes like a super malty and roasty version of a Dogfish 120 Minute that’s been aged a year+.
This didn't hold up to some over high % stouts I've had. It was strong and it was hard to put down the whole thing by myself but it was okay
Big boy RIS. Love the small can.
Go slow and savor this. Coffee notes and mild tobacco are well balanced. There is very little alcohol ‘burn’ putting on the brakes, so take your time to enjoy this outstanding stout.
Thick as motor oil and will get you lit. Heavy on the mouth and quite tasty
So good! As usual from these guys. Not that boozy considering the ABV
8.45 oz. can. 2020 vintage. This is how imperial Stout used to be brewed. Absolutely no adjuncts! Flavor is all from grain; dark chocolate, cacao nibs, rolled oats, dark fruit (fig hint) and bitter chocolate. Thick, full mouthfeel and absolutely decadent!
she’s v roasty
Fantastic - pours like thick, black oil. Only a faint head which disappeared really quickly. Sweet, chocolate on the noise. Dense, smooth molasses, with chocolate and a nice hint of coconut. A little alcohol burn at the end. Greatness in a small package.
Thick, velvety, smooth, heavy, dense. And most importantly, absolutely delicious. A rich, burnt chocolate sensation that poured and tasted incredibly smooth.
Definitely a great strong stout that is worth trying, but the way the flavors came together just didn’t do it for me.
Small can but giant flavor!
