This is VERY good. I didn’t realize that El Dorado hops were so sweet on their own.
Trader Joe's sells these thin pressed plastic packets of dried mango. The product is absolutely delightful to me because unlike real mango*, it has a milder flavor, and a slight tanginess that brings its fruit-jerkyness to the next level. This beer smells just like when you slit open the pouch at a perfect park picnic, and take a deep inhale from the bag. Smells like frisbee and volleyball, and extra large table cloths spread out on the grass, layered with blankets from the floors of car trunks, staked with backpacks and jackets, and the corner of a cooler to root them in place, as many hands and feet and paws, and wheels and camp chair legs and reclining forms texture the surface. The flavor adds sweet notes of orange juice, and tart apricot to balance.
Brisk and unique, this is unlike any IPA I’ve had. Blueberries and Lemongrass in a fizzy concoction that’ll light up your face.
This is the El Dorado version. Tropical, smooth and juicy with just a little bitterness at the end. Very enjoyable.
tasty and different, though the base IPA is average
These hops give it a slightly smoky and spicy feel on the tongue.
Pretty standard. Nothing really stands out about it
I do like El dorado more and more - solid!!
Daily corona battle. Ribs n steaks FTW edition. Wow. This is crazy juicy, citrus zesty and fantastic. Touch of spice on the finish.
Tastes like blueberry lemonade. Might be good for some but not for me
A very mild, citrusy DDH IPA that is aromatic. I don't get the ton of floral character as everyone else does. I get more of a grassy, vegetal taste. My disappointment is that the flavor quickly dissipates, despite being a hoppy beer.
very juicy, refreshing
light on the hops compared to other IPAs. color very accurate to taste. hint of mango really rounds out the flavor. would order again if they still make it
