About This Beer
Kyle Harrop aged an Imperial Stout base THREE consecutive times in Colonel E.H. Taylor bourbon barrels for a total of 55 months in oak. Then he steeped this stuff on coveted 2012 Vintage hot chocolate pu-erh tea, which blends oak-aged, fermented Chinese tea leaves with roasted cacao nibs and Madagascar vanilla beans for incredible depth.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to a velvety body featuring super fudge brownie notes accented by deep, earthy undertones. Expect nuances of caramel and oak to permeate the taste until it all culminates in a bittersweet baking cocoa finish.
