Publicity Stunt: Gimmicks Never Say Die
A Note on This Beer
I don’t get people who refuse to branch out from their typical craft beers. There’s a whole wide world of out-of-the-box, experimental brews to experience!
Especially those coming out of Sig Brewing — this crew knocks “out-of-the-box” out of the park with their brews like Publicity Stunt: Gimmicks Never Die. And, it's a collab with their fruit fiend friends at Brothers Cascadia Brewing!
This tropically twisted Sour IPA is an expedition of tangy, sweet, and hop-juicy flavors. Sig brewed it with additions of real dragon fruit and key limes, so each sip bangs with a sherbet-like sweetness mingled with tart citrus.
The brewers also generously double dry-hopped this Publicity Stunt with Strata and Sultana to coax out notes of pineapple, mandarin, and just a slight touch of dank.
Is it an IPA? Is it a Fruit Beer?
Whatever you want to call it, it’s definitely not your average brew. And, if you’re a true craft fan (which I know you are), do you really want to risk missing out on something great just because it’s different?
*Outside the brewery’s Tacoma, WA taproom, Tavour is the only place you’ll find this hop treat!

this was amazing. very limey!
Mmm juicy with sour key lime for sure and some zesty flavor from the dry hopping.
This is sour. Yes indeed. Key lime tart is overpowering and the dragon fruit doesn’t help. Not a great effort.
super sour. lime stands out.
super limey but not enjoyable or in a good way. not sure what happened but nothing played nicely together here
So sour and weird, I couldn’t last more than 5 sips
Just tastes a bit off, like drinking lime juice
sour, hint of fruit. tastes more like grapefruit with the combo of dragon fruit and key lime. it's an Allright drink. good for something light
