About This Beer
Founder and head brewer Gabe Fletcher describes Protect Your Neck as “a beer that rides the line between Barleywine and Imperial Stout.” And after 42 months maturing in Willett Rye Whiskey and Calumet Farms Bourbon Barrels, it should exude luxurious layers of rye spice, vanilla oaky, and wood char.
Tasting Notes
Expect notes of dark chocolate, Raisnettes, and rich caramel to course throughout the sip. Complex dark fruit nuances ought to usher the palate towards all that luxurious barrel character, while keeping the bold 18.38% ABV shockingly smooth.
