A Note on This Beer
When it comes to packing insane amounts of fruit into a beer, not many breweries can compete with Ohio’s Urban Artifact.
Take today’s Polygraph Midwest Fruit Tart. A single 30 barrel batch of this stuff uses 3000 lbs of cherries! Break it all down, and that works out to around 20 actual cherries for every 12 oz can.
How bonkers is that?! And, we haven’t even gotten to the real vanilla beans that make this tart treat so lusciously smooth.
Of course, all those cherries don’t actually make it INTO the can. That wouldn’t leave room for the smile-inducing 8.1% ABV. But, ALL of that flavor absolutely does wind up in the beer, and it cascades across the taste buds with each pleasantly puckering sip.
Every drop is like a spoonful of tart cherry preserves scooped straight from the jar, but in a body that’s surprisingly light, clean, and crisp!
If you’re looking for a beer that brings the fruit flavor — like, REALLY brings the fruit flavor — Polygraph delivers. And that’s no lie.

Cherry flavor and boozy. My friend loved it
Tart, fruity, and refreshing
Weird flavor. I think the vanilla is tripping me up
Wish there was more cherry flavor but has quite a bit of tartness
Neither sour nor sweet. Just a hint of cherry.
Light and refreshing with great fruit flavor yet also high in percentage
tastes good very cold
Very nice blend of sour and fruit.
Not sure about this one. It’s drinkable but something is off with the cherry.
Tasted weak and diluted. Nothing too special about it. It's a good refreshing beer at the most.
Way too sweet and thin
Super. Great fresh cherry flavor with just the right amount of tartness. Packs a punch at 8%. Trying to not drink these all right away - I want more!
The cherries are super forward. Delicious! Not oversour. Had my tongue slapping around in my mouth. The 8.1% is buried under awesome flavor
I wanted to love this but there just wasn’t enough cherry to this - not bad at all but maybe a bit too built up for me
Great cherry sour with vanilla notes that come through more as it warms up. Really good from start to finish.
A very mild sour, not super memorable.
This is an amazingly refreshing sour, so yum can't believe it's 8.1!
Lovely tart cherry flavor. Perfect on a hot day. Very refreshing.
Crisp, clean and refreshing. Mild cherry tartness and vanilla comes in on the nose. Can't believe it's 8.1% abv. One of the best sours I've ever had. Drinks like a good champagne with the level of carbonation in it. Wish I bought a few more.
Love the cherry flavor! Smooth for an 8.1%
Cherry and tartness in the best, light way. Better cherry than I ever expect.
Very acquired taste. Not really into the mix of tastes. Dont really get any cherry out of it and its not sweet or sour enough to really leave a lasting impression on my taste buds.
Few things are better than tart cherries. Whether in a pie or in a beer, you can’t go wrong. This beer delivers.
