About This Beer
To create it, the brewers started by aging a lusciously thick Stout in bourbon barrels. Then they conditioned the beer on rum barrel-aged dates and raisins, roasted figs, cinnamon, vanilla beans, and toasted oak.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t tasted it yet because (sadly) we missed the festival too. But we’re expecting rich notes of dark chocolate with drizzles of whiskey caramel. Nuances of date and raisin should blend beautifully with hints of warming cinnamon before it all ends with a swirl of creamy vanilla in the finish.
