Peanut Butter Chocolate
Braxton Brewing Company
A Note on This Beer
Peanut Butter Chocolate, strawberry shortcake, cinnamon roll — after hearing just a few of their inventive beer-delicacies, it comes as no surprise to learn that Braxton’s brews are in high demand.
Brewbound crowned them “one of the fastest-rising craft breweries in the nation!” And, Braxton recently announced a $5 million expansion to keep up!
The Kentucky brewery’s production is multiplying like chocolate bunnies because their dessert beers are so crave-worthy — their fans consider them the Willy Wonkas of pastry beers.
Pretend you’re Augustus Gloop and dive into the brewery’s decadent repertoire starting with today’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Porter. It’s an ooey-gooey Reese’s cup, only better because it comes with 7.2% ABV and a crushable Porter-style body!
This is the type of liquid dessert you’d find Kentucky locals sipping after dinner; that is, if they’re lucky enough to snag one before it sells out. They know what you’re soon to find out — this beer tops cake and candy bars any day!

A bit of PB but brewers very rarely put enough PB in their beers.
Taste like a dark chocolate cake with a little peanut butter mixed in
Was a little watered down for my liking.
Not exactly a Reece’s peanut butter cup, but it’s still an excellent dessert stout. Nice blend of dark chocolate and peanut butter. Rich.
Had such a great balance between peanut butter and chocolate.
Super tasty, like peanut butter coffee.
The PB wasn't as strong as I was expecting. It was a good stout overall though.
Lots of pb.
Just did the job but not the most memorable beer. Kinda low brow. But definitely can taste the flavors advertised. Not ideal
A well balanced, not overpowering chocolate PB porter. Hits all the right notes
Complex and full of flavour with spices and rich chocolatey flavour.
I love this, but I also love peanut butter and porters. It isn’t overwhelming or even all that powerful but it’s well balanced and easy to drink and tastes like it advertises.
Great dessert stout. Paired it with some spoonfuls of peanut butter, and boy was that good! However, as a stand alone stout, it doesn’t quite hold up on its own without the sweets to pair it with. The PB gave it a half a star all by itself, otherwise it would have been rated slightly lower.
Tasted great when eaten with a brownie!
Great chocolate and peanut butter flavor. Only critique is the viscosity wasnt in my sweet spot.
Has a bitter dark chocolate taste, very thin & carbonated mouth feel with no hint of peanut butter
Could be sweeter. Peanut butter is pretty weak
Any good porter should be a touch smoky, and this one lacks in that department. A good porter, but not great. I guess I’m more of a stout fan I suppose. The flavors are there, but I feel they fight, rather than compliment each other. The lactose is not sweet enough to inspire me to enjoy it more.
Its was okay. But I wouldn't buy more and drink it again. But I am happy I tried it
Very tasty, notntoo sweet but very peanutbuttery.
My boyfriend and I loved this beer. It tastes like a boozy milkshake. Goes down way too easy. I’m glad I ordered more than one.
Really does taste like a peanut butter chocolate dessert! A good stout, but could be a little thicker for my taste
you’d expect sweet but not so - great peanut flavor and dark chocolate accents.
Creamy and peanut buttery goodness. Dessert in a glass.
Tavour sponsored Sunday Funday 7/7 What a finish! The PB invaded your nose with each breath. The taste is a mix of chocolate and peanut butter ooey goodness. I can only imagine what this would be like to taste as a dessert. I want some!
A bit more peanut butter but overall great
