About This Beer
For this unprecedented gem, the clever crew at Ingenious teamed up with the barrel specialists at Horus Aged Ales.
The brewers blended an Imperial Sour aged five months in banana rum barrels and a Wee Heavy Ale aged a full year in brown sugar rum barrels. Then they conditioned it all on pineapple, Tahitian vanilla, lime zest, and cacao.
Every sip is an escapade into a whole jungle of flavor. Canopies of boozy bananas foster tangle with vines of caramelized pineapple and burnt brown sugar. Vanilla oak foliage and rum-soaked raisin dangle just below, all shading the Forbidden Temple of Pago Pago, housing a 12.5% ABV!
