About This Beer
The team at Grimm Artisanal Ales crafted this unique refresher with a double decocted, cold fermented Pilsner base gently infused with noble hops. Then they aged it in an oak foeder where it gained complexity from the wild cultures in the wood.
After that, seven months of can conditioning allowed the beer to develop a spritzy natural carbonation and fascinating nuances of delicate, Bretty funk.
Tasting Notes
Each quenching quaff is light and crisp, with biscuity malts and an easygoing 5.2% ABV — just like you’d expect from any Pils. But it also comes with a subtle, hay and leather funk, plus the tangy whispers of lemon zest, nectarine, and pineapple that Saison stans live for.
