A Note on This Beer
When I host a backyard barbecue on a sweltering summer afternoon, I make sure to stock the fridge full of crisp Lagers to keep my buddies cool.
Last weekend, my overheated pals quenched their thirst with ice-cold cans of On Delay, the first-ever Mexican Lager from the talented brewsters at Transient Ales.
The brewers added real flaked maize and just a touch of citrusy hops to coax out sweet, lime zested corn-on-the-cob flavors!
This light and refreshing brew overflows with cool summer vibes. It was a hit at my socially distanced get-together and fans online are raving too:
- “Certainly one of the best "Mexican-style" Lagers I've had. Hop presence is ever so slight. Quite refreshing for a perfect August evening, such as this.” @Mark C.
- “Great lager in this category would be awesome with some fresh-squeezed limes in it!” @Alex S.
- “Gonna need some more of that like yesterday.” @Tyler R.
So, if you are like @Tyler R. and need a crisp Lager to beat the heat, cool down with a few cans of this crushable brew!
*Craft Beer and Brewing calls Transient Ales a Breakout Brewery because they use “simple recipes and barrel fermentation to create beers that are works of art.”
