A Note on This Beer
Tiny, tiny, tiny Old Schoolhouse Brewery is home to some of the most highly decorated brewers in the trophy room full of medals that make up the Northwest. Their chocolate covered plum-like Imperial Stout is a prime example, no stranger to podiums, it has won six medals in the past five years-- including Gold at last year’s Washington Beer Awards.
This 10% ABV Russian Imperial Stout bundles up an array of complimentary flavors from carefully selected: 2 Row Pale, English Crystal, Munich, Chocolate, Black, Roasted Barley, and Victory Malts. Enjoy sifting through dark fruits, sweet bread, chocolate, and subtle anise with your nose. Taste all that you’ve smelled paired alongside mocha and licorice, with a finish of bitter char.
School yourself in the art of Stouts with this Washington State staple. Some thing are just that simple.
