A Note on This Beer
Musical Brews: Today’s Imperial Hazy IPA is a collab between Weathered Souls Brewing and hip hop group Run the Jewels! Soloist Hops: The coconut notes of Sabro Hops are amped up with real toasted coconut, marshmallow fluff, and Madagascar vanilla beans! Flavorful Flow: It’s got the creamy, frothy mouthfeel of a malted milkshake, but with the lip-smacking finish of bitter hops.
To San Antonio locals, it’s no surprise this brew is bangin’ — HopCulture named Weathered Souls the Best Brewery of 2020!

Last year, their Black is Beautiful initiative brought together 1,200 breweries across 50 states and 22 countries. According to Brewbound, it’s both their passion for change and their daring creativity that prompted Run the Jewels to reach out to them.

Yum. I wasn't expecting it to taste as much like it's ingredients as it did. Also want really expecting to like that combo but I was pleasantly surprised. It's certainly sweet, almost like a teenager's breakfast cereal. RTJ all day err day
To many flavors that just don't mix..was disappointed with this..
Delicious, love the strong coconut flavor. Went down a little too easy 😜
Marshmellow was over powering making it hard to drink
Smooth coconut flavor
Didn’t like this one at all
Too much vanilla
Great smooth coconut flavor blended well within this IPA. Best drinking experience achieved while listening to your favorite Run The Jewels ablum.
Coconut /marshmallow fluff was sweet and super cereal like but I enjoyed it heaps. Luv Run the Jewelry too 🥴
I’m giving this a solid 4 pure right way to do coconut & vanilla in a beer but it’s very light and super smooth finish but I wanted more then a solid 4
Tastes great when it’s ice cold. However as it warms up, the flavor loses its peak and tastes rather funky. Who pounds their cold one? I don’t.
First one was flat and skunked. Had to pour out. Don't normally do this. Probably not on the brewery. Won't judge just yet. Second one wasn't much better but wasn't flat. Too much marshmallow I think. I let this sit in my fridge for about a month. Hopefully I am to blame. But other IPAs held that long are still remarkable. I would give this beer another shot if drank more fresh.
Too weird...fruity and vanilla and chocolate
Interesting coconut and vanilla taste but not my thing when it comes to hazys
Good beer but to many flavor profiles for me.
Marshmallow makes this tough to drink. Overly sweet.
The finish on this is delicious. Like I just ate a really good dessert, or a Samoa cookie
The beer was overpowered with vanilla. It reminded me more of a cream soda than a DIPA.
Tasty hazy IPA, but very vanilla-forward, almost ridiculously so. “Perhaps it’s a dessert beer.”
Not an ipa
This had a hint of a vanilla coke taste with the ending flavor of an ipa it was really smooth.
Tasted liked vanilla and marshmallow. Really horrible. Couldn’t finish the can. ,
Just not my style. Too much coconut, too much vanilla, too much marshmallow. There’s nothing natural about the taste of this beer. Couldn’t even finish it…
I took one sip and that’s it. Too much of everything.
Amazing. Well done. The hint of vanilla and coconut are very satisfying.
I like it. Nice marshmallow vanilla flavor. I’m not getting the coconut.
Sweet milkshake with surprising peanut flavor
heavy on the vanilla
Like if you poured a shot of southern tiers “creme brûlée” into a hazy Ipa. Good, but better for fall time.
Definitely a great beer, I really enjoyed it. Make sure it’s ice cold when consumed for best taste !
Too much vanilla for my taste
Thoroughly enjoyed the coconut sweetness that punches you in the mouth. Great vanilla flavor.
Full of vanilla
Coconut and marshmallow don’t work for me in this IPA
Don’t know if marshmallows and ipas go together. Was a good attempt though.
It tasted like a synthetic sugar.
A corona with coconut syrup
Huge marshmallow fluff aroma. Marshmallow, light tangerine notes, and vanilla in taste. Hints of coconut. Sweet on sweet. Very low bitterness on finish unsuccessfully tries to rein in the sweetness.
Didn’t work for me
different but I say it works
Hard to call this an ipa. Marshmallow was overpowering
interesting twist of flavors
Very dank aroma and strong vanilla taste. A one off for me.
I was pretty excited for this brew only to be let down. I don't like saying this but I found it to be absolutely disgusting
