About This Beer
To make it, the beloved Maine brewers started with a malty base, fermented and soured it in an oak foeder, then conditioned the beer on local raspberries and plums. Then they added a little more pop with a dose of pluerry — a rarely seen hybrid of plum and cherry that tastes like an amped up version of the two fruits.
Tasting Notes
Naturally, every sip overflows with gushing tones of sweet stone fruit balanced by bold acidity. Subtle grassy funk lingers in the background on the way to a dry, crisp finish.
