A Note on This Beer
Elephant Heart plums from Palisade, Colorado. Organic sugar cane stalks harvested near the brewery’s Sante Fe, NM taproom. Pacific sea salt.
These are the supremely luxurious ingredients swirling in today’s foeder-fermented, bulk-aged Fruited Gose. Trust us, it is as opulent and refreshing as it sounds.
Built on a base featuring three types of wheat/Pilsner malt, and soured using their house lactobacillus, every stone fruit-drenched sip flutters with lemony funk. Thanks to an extended period of time spent in the brewery’s oak foeder, every taste tantalizes the taste buds with nuances of hay and clove, accentuated by a slight oakiness and a dry finish.
Best of all? This top-of-the-line Gose is from our brand-new friends at Rowley Farmhouse Ales.
If you haven’t heard of these funk-masters yet, hear this. They opened their doors in 2016, and just three years later, they won the most medals of any brewery at the 2019 GABF awards, as well as Small Brew Pub of the Year.
Pretty darn impressive, we know! So go ahead — snag a can, and surprise your favorite Sour sipper at the next group tasting. Or, crack open your favorite book, sit on your back porch, and drink all 16oz yourself. It’s your call!
