About This Beer
Since it’s solera-aged, the brewers only remove a portion of the beer from the foeder, then replenish it with fresh wort, allowing it to continue aging in oak with traces of every batch before it. This creates even more depth with every fresh version.
Tasting Notes
Vol. IV boasts complex notes of hay and stewed pears, with gentle hints of bubblegum and clove accentuating the flavors. The addition of Riwaka Hops lends a subtle New Zealand cone character to the sip, and it all culminates in a satisfying finish.
