About This Beer
The celebrated Maryland team hopped this Belgian-style brew with Riwaka, and aged it in their American oak foeder, replacing portions of the maturing Ale with fresh wort at regular intervals.
Tasting Notes
The complex result glows with fruity esters and gentle oaky depth. Whispers of hay and baking spices accent the grainy body, along with bright notes of freshly squeezed grapefruit. Meanwhile, hints of honey and pear lend the sip an intriguing mild sweetness.
