A Note on This Beer
Leave the champagne on the shelf, mimosa lovers. There’s a new OJ drink in town, and it’s poised to be a new favorite for Sunday mornings!
MO-J is a delicious Hazy IPA brewed and double dry-hopped with 100% Motueka Hops, sourced all the way from New Zealand. The brewers at Heist chose this Kiwi touch to give it the smooth, thirst-quenching flavor of freshly squeezed oranges, pineapples, and mangoes.
With a 7.1% ABV, it’s like straight-up Sunny D with a splash of booze and a kiss of lime!
This main squeeze started as an early experiment in Hazyland, and the brewers surprised locals with its crushable flavor. Now, it’s the juice-blasted IPA that fans are calling “Perfection!
If you need a brew to keep your Sunday mornings easy, crack open a can of MO-J and your usual hair-of-the-dog will walk away with its tail between its legs.

Lots of citrus taste pretty smooth very nice color
Sadly, this was my least favorite from Tavour. Wasn't very juicy to me.
Impressed. Great balance between IPA and OJ. Almost verges on a mimosa mouth feel as the carbonation seems higher than normal.
As close as you can get to orange juice being in beer, if that’s your thing.
IPAs are hard for me now, I was hoping the orange juice would balance it out, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
I liked this one! Wish there was a little more orange to it though
Nice smooth ipa with just enough orange flavor to bring down the bitterness just a touch. Very drinkable and for being 7% this one really hits the spot!
Excellent, like a hoppy mimosa!
Juice all day
Juicy, Smooth, Mango, Orange Juice, Tropical, Hoppy
Very juicy, not heavy. A football time mimosa if you will.
Smooth, soft juice, almost creamy at times, but with a small hop burn. Light carbonation that made it almost feel like a nitro.
Nice citrus with a light hop finish. Very easy drinking.
Smooth with just the right amount of hop makes for easy drinking.
Very bland IPA. Not impressed.
A bit thin, but pretty tasty
Very smooth 10/10
Soft... slightly sweet tang. OJ and mango. Solid.
Was hoping for more but still a good beer
Very tasty neipa. I couldn’t help but think of oj while taking every sip. Solid crushable abv. Now I know I really enjoy mouteka.
Solid citrus taste goop ipa.
With the title I expected Mo, but still it was good.
A little thin for my taste but smooth with a decent hint of oranginess.
Strong citrus flavor. Easy drinking ipa
Picture on label says it all, love the tropical orange notes and firm bitterness to remind you it’s an IPA
Wish I could taste more orange
One of my favorites from the crate! The hint of orange was perfect.
I was hoping this would be the ultimate breakfast beer but it lacked juiciness and depth.
Super light, easy drinking.
Tastes like nothing
Great IPA. just enough juicy ness and didn’t overpower it.
Fantastic. Orange comes through nicely.
Not as orange flavored as I’d like. Def not a mimosa I’d still go with a mimosa over this
Hoppy Orange Juice 🍺
So juicy - a winner!
Wasn’t a huge fan of the taste, but definitely tastes like “sort of” orange juice
Nice and juicy with a decent hoppy punch.
Amazingly juicy and satisfying! Great balance of fruit & hops. Could drink several of these puppies!
Juicy and very well balanced. Tasty!
Just ok. Not as much OJ taste as I expected.
Taste like orange juice with a little hops.
Definitely not a strong orange flavor to it. Still a very good IPA, but doesn’t have the Mimosa flavor that was expected. Still a strong addition to the collection
A lot of orange, with some bitterness at the end
Smooth IPA without a bitter aftertaste. Smell of oranges.
Smooth and hoppy; hint of citrus. Pretty good for an IPA.
not super impressed but ok
