A Note on This Beer
Today’s flavor-riot of a 2-pack has absolutely nothing to do with the legendary Punk Rock bands Misfits and Minor Threat!
It’s just a coincidence that the beers are named Misfit NE-Style IPA and Minor Threat NE-style IPA.
Pay no mind that Minor Threat IPA is brewed with an outrageous triple dry-hopping of mango-blasted Galaxy, tangerine-spanked Citra, and white grapefruit-walloped Nelson Hops — or that the drummer of the band Minor Threat is named Jeff Nelson!
Misfit IPA is drenched with a tornado of tangeriney Citra, a monsoon of mangoey Galaxy, and a slam dance of strawberry Strata Hops that would tame even the wildest juicehead’s cravings. The band Misfits started their own record label and signed a new band called JuiceHead — obviously, it’s just a coincidence.
Want to really investigate? Show up at a Misfits or Minor Threat concert and you’ll find a room full of thirsty guys with beards talking about how intense the bands are. Then sneak into Baa Baa’s taproom and you’ll come across some very familiar-looking suspects discussing the very same topic.
Whether or not you believe the conspiracy, score your juicy IPA punk rock 2-pack now before the crowds figure out that there’s more in common with beer and punk music than ever before.
