A nice barrel aged stout but the very flavor is a little too strong for me and takes away from the bourbon and chocolate flavors.
I was expecting the typical artificial snow cone berry flavor syrups, but I was pleasantly surprised. Berries were natural and strong upfront, but the chocolate kicked in for a nice balancing effect. Oh yeah, a nice bourbon warmth to finish.
Didn't like this one as much as the peppermint Might Meets Right. That said still a solid stout that packs a mighty punch. The berry flavor was good but clashed a bit with the other flavors
Very berry, very sweet on a tasty stout base. Can't taste much barrel, but still enjoyable.
It could have been better. Just not a got blend of tastes vs. ABV. Maybe they need to be shaken. Not sure.
I’ll order more next time! Very tasty!
Not quite the mouthfeel or thickness I have come to expect from this line of barrel-aged stouts.
My flavor palette hated this- didn’t think it combined well for the sweet and stout
Blackberry flavor and some chocolate
Mmmmmmmmm. Not super-thick for a stout, but berries and chocolate are VERY forward. Can definitely find a decent barrel-aged high ABV flavor. Good stuff!
Flavor is fresh berries, cocoa, vanilla, molasses, bourbon, and oak. Very tasty. The berry flavor is incredibly fresh, nothing remotely artificial or saccharine about it. The berry tartness really balances out the sweetness of the underlying beer. Superb.
Incredible. The berry flavor was amazing. One of my favorite beers in a long time.
Very berry forward with both scent and taste. Actual stout flavor is completely hidden. Bourbon is a subtle undertone.
Very much berry forward and a little lost afterward but still a very good beer.
Raspberry is prominent up front, and is tasty. Otherwise it fades into an unremarkable stout. Pretty good but not great.
Nice raspberry flavor, but pretty boozy otherwise.
Got a few of these ‘might meet right’ variants. This is my first and the blackberry/raspberry dominates. It’s quite good, but for me the stout is almost completely overwhelmed, and the barrel character takes second to the berry, maybe a bit cloying too.
