To craft it, the 3 Sons crew aged a rich, cocoa-y base in Henry McKenna 10-year bourbon barrels for 21 months, soaking it in sumptuous, woody complexity.
Tasting Notes
Anticipate every thick, silky quaff coursing with gorgeous nuances of dark chocolate mocha and vanilla oak. Elegant espresso tones should seep into notes of whiskey caramel and woody spice, completely hiding the bold 14.9% ABV. And if other releases are anything to go by, It’ll all be so deliciously dynamic, you’ll convince yourself it’s adjuncted. But nope — this stunner is all barrel and Stout, making it that much more impressive!
