Sparking electricity, bubbling beakers, and maniacal laughter. That’s how I picture the brewhouse at New York’s Equilibrium Brewery.
Of course, it’s not like that at all — their taproom space is rustic and warm, like a cozy cabin in the woods. But, co-founder and head brewer Pete Oates can still act like a mad scientist when he brings a new batch of this soft-bodied, tropically fruity MC2 DIPA to life!
It tastes like Pete and his team took some space-age hybrid of grapefruit and tangerine and blended it with pineapple, mango, and a dollop of passionfruit. In short, it’s so tropically delicious you might want to sip it from a coconut shell.
