The Dallas-area crew at False Idol went BIG with this behemoth! They loaded it with a Texas-sized helping of pulpy mango and an open skies’ worth of silky vanilla to go with it.

I don’t normally drink fruited beers [I find them to sweet] this one was not to sweet and had a slight sour finish

Simpler than many other Berliners, which will appeal to many. I personally would prefer just a little more complexity, maybe using an additional variety of mango.

I was hoping for a stronger mango presence as Weiss beers tend to be bland . It was a well crafted beer but I had to rate lower because the name implied a heartier flavor.

Too tart without enough varied flavor backing it up. Where’s the vanilla? IDK. Just a bit disappointing.
