A Note on This Beer
I never understood the phrase “go bananas.” What do bananas have to do with acting crazy?
Then, I had a taste of Energy City's newest Bistro Smoothie, stuffed to the brim with heaps of mango, coconut, and banana, and it finally made complete sense. I was so hyped on its uncanny level of gooey-fruity, smoothie-like flavor, I yelled “HOLY SMOKES,” scaring my dog straight out of the room!
Sorry not sorry, Sparky. ‘Cause there’s no way my bananas-level of excitement is going to die until this can’s finished. At which point, I might need to open another.
With each silky smooth sip, layers of succulent mango swirl alongside swells of toasty coconut and sweet banana. It tastes like the brewers took my favorite Jamba Juice flavor, tossed it back in the blender with even MORE fruit, and spiked it with a little booze.
And, I can attest — there’s no WAY you’ll notice the 8% ABV hiding behind all of the velvety-soft, fruity-goodness.
All I’m sayin’ is — it’s okay to go a little bananas! And, if anybody asks, tell them you’re actin’ crazy because you just tried Energy City’s newest Bistro Smoothie. If they’re lucky enough to have tried it, they’ll understand!

The taste is in the name. Taking a sip takes you to the beach of your favorite resort, tropical smoothie in hand. The high ABV sneaks up on you as there is very little alcohol taste. Perfect for a warm summer day.
