I have a lot of things to say about today’s oak-aged cherry Sour from Crooked Stave, but Untappd craft fan @Brett L. summed it up better than I can:

“Daggum daggum [cherry emoji].”

Now I’m just speculating, but I have a feeling that it was the tart and tangy juice from Colorado Montmorency cherries, the smooth and satisfying barrel complexity, and the gorgeous deep amber hue of this Sour Red Ale that left Brett nearly speechless.  

At least, that’s what it did for me. And it might for you too, if you’re among the lucky 100 Tavoursters to snag a bottle!
