The flavor is a desert.
Very smooth especially for how boozy it is.
Maple, thick, not overly sweet, not to roasty either. Not bad, couldn't drink more than one in a sitting though.
That THICC almond stout be hitting hard. Very nice to drink as a dessert drink at the end of the night. Not crazy sweet, just right for me.
Good. Definitely on the sweeter side. Smaller pours is best
I’d say it definitely lived up to its name “Main Boss.” It’s not exactly my cup of tea which is why my score reflects it but I would highly recommend it to those that are fans of stouts
Nice and creamy, hint of almonds, but a little too much coconut sweetness for me
I got a lot of the thick molasses goodness that was promised. Can’t complain about getting this one. Cheers to the Main Boss
Tastes great wish I had bought a few more. Not too sweet, love the almond flavor coming through at the end.
Thiccc like Hershey’s chocolate syrup. Smooth molasses and a kick of booze make this an amazing pastry stout. While I enjoy a sweet stout this was a little too sweet for me, but it does everything they set out to do when they brewed this boss up.
Was a pretty good stout at the end of the can. Nice and heavy in content. I’m just not much of a stout guy. Description raised my interest. Will probably go with sometime more basic next time around
Nice flavor and texture
The orgeat flavors are throwing me off a bit.
There’s a lot going on here. It doesn’t totally work but it’s still pretty good.
Fantastic flavor combo, super molasses forward and an almond-citrus finish.
Tasted like concentrated coffee with a bit of vanilla creamer. I'm not huge on stout but this was forsure an enjoyable experience.
I dont want to give this a bad rating because I feel I got a bad can. Tasted oxidized 🤦♂️
Like eating a chocolate cake with coconut icing
The almond flavor from the orgeat is overpowering and it’s all I can taste.
16oz can from Tavour. Black oil slick of a pour, a few bubbles, then still. Rum, coconut, chocolate make up the aroma. Taste is chocolate and sweet, coconut, rum notes. Slick and creamy. And the burn, yea, you can't forget that. While the aroma can seem harsh, the taste is much smoother.
Very sweet. Booze forward with molasses and coconut to follow and finished with a citric astringency.
I love stouts, but this flavor profile was off. I don’t think the coconut went with it.
Almond and orange forward for sure.
It was different and not in a bad way. Just didn’t seem as some of the ingredients mixed. Felt as if each flavor was independent and not completely blended together. Still a good stout, just different.
Fantastic. Slight coconut flavor up front, but the almond finish is amazing. Very smooth and goes down too easy.
Nice balanced mix of ingredients
Relatively thick and sweet
Pretty solid.. Literally. Very thick. The almond citrus makes this next level though
molasses cookie with a side of almonds- definitely a slow sipper
Like the mouth feel. Doesn’t taste like it’s 12%, very drinkable. Almost like a palate cleansing after dinner brandy. Chocolate chestnut goodness!!! It is 12% though so recommended small pours.
Too much going on. Hit like a soda
Don’t get the flavors. Very flat and mineral-like aftertaste
Absolutely phenomenal the flavors are exhilarating..
Although I can taste all of the flavors stated, the ABV is just too much and overpowering. It burns going down, which I don't like in my beer
Good sweet start, mellowing out to a soft finish though a little underwhelming end
Slight metallic aftertaste
Definitely get the citrus bite cutting into the molasses flavor almond rounds it out at the end
A fantastic stout with a beautiful bourbon backbone. I could drink this all day!
Probably the best stout I've ever had. Perfect flavors for my taste preferences.
I don’t know why it only has a 3.69 rating... this is pretty damn good. Bit on the sweet side but not overly sweet. Great bite on the back end
It’s not bad. It gets better as it comes to room temp from cellar temp. A little thin, but good flavor.
Pastry Stout is right this is a bit too sweet.
Orange dominates all other flavors. Definitely will avoid beers with oranges in the future.
It was an imperial stout. Not a great one; not a terrible one.
Plain stout, could taste a bit of the almond extract but that's it definitely no coconut or molasses
12% of smooth coconut, almond goodness. A beer I don’t want to have to share. Also- a great beer for fighting bosses in Borderlands 3. I wish I lived in MN to join the collaborative. Reviewed live at twitch.tv/brewedforgaming.
Sweet orange and molasses flavor leads off. The rum follows closely behind raising awareness like a hurricane! Medicinal aftertaste is a little off-putting.
Great flavor but too sweet for me
This was thick and dark, and by the end kind of a slog. I would definitely share this next time so as to not have to drink the whole thing.
Smooth and sweet, as advertised, delicious but wouldn’t want to drink more than one in a sitting
Really good warm
Burnt. High alcohol taste.
A lot of good things going on here. One can is shareable as it is very sweet.
Roasty toasty stout aromas. Even sweeter than expected with loads of chocolate, almond, & coconut. Thick, rich, creamy mouthfeel with a sweet sticky finish.
Very interesting stout, citrus and almond mostly and very thick.
Weird after taste
Thick dessert stout. Not as sweet as I expected, which I love. The orange is very subtle at the end. Better than expected and I expected it to be very good.
Cool can art, but had an odd after tatse that ruined it for me.
Too much coconut, too sweet, too boozy for me
Great desert beer!
The molasses hits you in the face. Very thick and heavy.
Well, the brewer pulls off the rum inspired drink they were after. To me it tastes like a Rum Almond Cake or a boozy coffee cake. It is rich and decadent with a nice full body. It gets to be a bit much to drink a entire can solo. This needs to be split.
This was okay, but a little too sweet for my tastes. If you enjoy beer on the sweetness level of any kind of syrup, then this one is for you!
Strong, tasty...just okay
This was okay, not real excited by this one.
Something was off on this one, definitely not my favorite.
Flavor additions are really cool, but its far too syrupy sweet.
Nice rich dessert stout with amaretto notes.
This was a good try for sure. A little too sweet for my taste. Good booziness and flavor, just needs a dial back on the sweet.
