A Note on This Beer
I grew up on Welch’s grape juice. It’s tasty, and it pairs well with a PB&J. But, my tastes have changed as an adult. Once I tried freshly squeezed concord grape juice, that made-from-concentrate stuff no longer cuts it!
The brewers of today’s Magenta Concord Grape Farmhouse Ale use real fruit, funked-out wild yeast, and a 7.5% ABV swagger.
It’s brimming with sweet and tangy juice. And,
- Saison and Wild Ale fans will be extra stoked, because it comes from the newest Farmhouse Ale specialists to join us at Tavour: Maine’s Oxbow Brewing.
- Hop Culture raves about how Oxbow has established themselves as some “of the most highly regarded and well-respected producers [of Farmhouse Ales] not just in the state, but their whole region!”
Fruited Farmhouse Ales don’t come knocking on our doorstep often. There isn’t much (only 29 cases), but thankfully, at least a few of you can get a taste.
