A Note on This Beer
Indeed Brewing is one of Minnesota’s best-kept secrets.
They’ve been setting the Midwest abuzz for the last 7 years with their curiously inspired sippers, even earning a spot as one of Thrillist’s Best Breweries in Minnesota, alongside powerhouses Fair State and Surly!
And the hype doesn’t stop there! Scroll through the brewery’s social media, and you’ll see comment after comment from awe-struck fans:
- “These guys have hands down the best beer in Minneapolis!” @Curtis H.
- “In a city full of awesome breweries, these guys are one of the best.” @Matt K.
- “Great people, great beer… what more could you want?” @Rick L.
With all that buzzworthy praise, I had to fly out to the Twin Cities and load up on a small stash of Indeed’s brews to share with our members.
And I can’t think of a better introduction to these Midwest masters than two mouth-watering beers that highlight their un-bee-lievable skills. Both are extra-limited, award-winning, and loaded with enough sticky-sweet honey to make Winnie the Pooh jealous.
Start by cracking open Mexican Honey Imperial Lager, and you’ll understand why Minneapolis locals are sweet on Indeed.
Pour the light, golden-hued Lager into a glass and dive into its GABF Silver Medal-winning layers of citrus that swirl around a dizzying 8% ABV. 450 lbs of Mexican orange blossom honey imparts silky sweet notes that buzz across the palate, zipping between splashes of pithy grapefruit from a dosing of Amarillo Hops.
Then, indulge in the herbaceous, earthy complexity that earned LSD Honey Ale a Gold Medal at the 2018 American Honey Beer Competition!
Brewed with real lavender, sunflower honey, and 100 lbs of dates in each batch, this crisp 7.4% ABV sipper overflows with notes of lemongrass, wildflowers, and a delicate, earthy sweetness.
Grab this honey-soaked duo and be the first to introduce your friends to the Minnesota brewers creating a buzz in the Midwest.
