A Note on This Beer
In the 1978 classic, Up in Smoke, Tommy Chong drowns out his father’s criticisms by blending up a fresh fruit smoothie and zoning out into its juicy goodness.
I imagine he’d love today’s Kush Cream Imperial IPA.
For one thing, the homies at LIC Beer Project positively loaded this one with the green stuff – I’m talking hops! Idaho 7 delivers smoothie-worthy flavors of papaya, orange, and ruby red grapefruit, while Cashmere brings dank melon notes and a grassy bitterness.
Then, to make the brew even more craveable, the brewers conditioned it on creamy lactose and orange peels!
Every mouthful is juicy, silky bliss from start to finish. But, be sure to sip slowly – Kush Cream packs a surprisingly buzzing 9% ABV.
And, as Tommy Chong would approve, it’ll totally mellow you out after a rough day, man.
*Forbes praises LIC for “crushing the IPA game” in New York City!
