About This Beer
The brewers crafted it beginning with a Lambic-inspired base aged for one year in French oak barrels. Then they added 3.5 pounds per gallon of locally-grown Van, Bing, Royal Anne, and tart pie cherries. The beer soaked up those rich orchard flavors for another three months before the crew finally bottle conditioned it.
Tasting Notes
Overripe stone fruit nuances swirl through every mildly tangy pour. Hints of marzipan, red wine, and barnyard funk flow throughout, lending the pie-filling tones plenty of depth.
