About This Beer
To make it, he started with one of his legendary Stout bases and aged it for 24 months in Woodinville Whiskey barrels that previously held another Horus Stout. And with no adjuncts to get in the way, the barrel flavors shine through every drop.
Tasting Notes
Look for nuances of caramel and date soaring above dense chocolate flavors. A wave of vanilla will usher you towards the finish, leaving just a whisper of warmth from the big 12.3% ABV.
