A Note on This Beer
According to the hop masters at Frost Beer Works, that’s the secret behind today’s Junior iPA.
They’re not telling anyone their special recipe, but they did reveal that the juicy, citrusy, and papaya-soaked profile comes from a massive 3.5lbs per barrel of tropically-potent hops sourced from all over the world!
If these Vermont natives have yet to take your palate on a flavor journey, it’s cause their beers are nearly impossible to find outside of New England. But they’ve been making a splash on the hazy hop scene since opening back in 2016, even racking up a higher brewery rating on UT and BA than IPA masters like Fremont, KCBC, and Founders!
And with shout-outs from Paste Magazine and Imbibe, and a spot as one of Forbes 50 Fastest Growing Breweries in the Country, it’s clear they’re very, very good at what they do.
If you’ve been itching to get a taste of these hazemasters blowing up the New England craft scene — or you’re just as curious as we were to know what a “whole world of hops" tastes like — grab a few cans of Junior and find out.
Pour the hazy golden sipper into a glass and you’ll be swept away on a whirlwind journey around the world. Starting in South Africa, aromas of drippy peach and zesty citrus will rise to greet your senses. Take a sip, and layers of gooseberry and passionfruit whisk you away to the hop fields of New Zealand and Australia.
Take yet another sip, and the taste reveals hints of mango and pithy grapefruit straight from the heart of Washington’s Yakima Valley. A final whisper of pine disappears behind a mouthfeel so pillowy, you’ll think your flavor tour around the world was nothing more than a delicious dream.
So grab your cans of Junior, call up your most haze-crazed buddies, and get ready to take your palate on a juicy journey around the world with this easy-going Vermont hazy. No passport necessary.
