A Note on This Beer
I was already up to my eyeballs in excitement for today’s new Imperial IPA from Interboro — these guys nabbed FIRST PLACE in Draft Magazine’s Best IPAs in America competition, and they beat out 386 competitors to do it!
Then I found out Judgment Night IIPA is a collab with Holy Mountain, and I passed out from the exhilaration. My buddy had to revive me by splashing the hopbomb on my face! (Yeah, I asked him why he didn’t just use water. He told me this beer was all he could think about).
Vivid tropical fruit aromas from Vic Secret, El Dorado and Sabro Hops jolted my senses awake, enticing me to grab the can and take a deep sip of this hoppy trifecta. Almost immediately, pillowy waves of juicy mango, ripe peach, bright strawberry and passion fruit washed over my palate, nearly launching me into another flavor-induced stupor!
Thankfully it didn’t happen, ‘else more of this 8% ABV hazy masterpiece might have been wasted on my face. I suppose I should’ve been sitting down to begin with considering Thrillist named Interboro one of NYC’s Best New Breweries and praised Holy Mountain as one of the Top 15 Seattle Breweries You Need to Drink At Right Now.
I knew a collab between them would be epic, but I didn’t know it would be so good I’d be shaken to my core!
I grabbed as much Judgment Night as I could, but you’re gonna have to move quickly to snag your own stash. The last IIPAs we had from each of these breweries vanished in less than 72 hours!
Before today, you'd have to hop on a round-trip flight back and forth from Seattle to NYC to experience anything like this. Now you can get the best of both worlds right here!
While you’re at it, recruit a hop fiend buddy to be at your side when you crack open the can. Not only will they worship you forever for snagging a brew that’s not otherwise leaving the New York area, but you can revive each other if the excitement gets too overwhelming.
Just have some water nearby so none of this tasty IIPA gets wasted!
This beer is too spankin’ new for ratings!
