A Note on This Beer
I’ve personally tipped back many pints of Johnny Utah Pale Ale at the local bars. This stuff’s been a draft staple in Seattle since Georgetown Brewing debuted it more than 6 years ago!
But it almost never crosses state lines. Heck, it’s only recently been available in cans at all!
See, Georgetown is a draft-focused brewery — Johnny Utah is only the 4th-ever beer they put into cans! But with quarantine closing bars, they’re canning more than ever, which means we can share a stash of this locals-only brew with all of you!
Pop the top on this 100% Citra Hop-soaked delight and enjoy breezy aromas of juicy orange, tropical mandarin, and pithy grapefruit — like a fresh-squeezed juice blend. Take a sip, and the light body goes down super smooth, with a dry finish that begs for another taste.
Snag those cans of Johnny Utah, put on an old grunge album, and drink like a Seattle local. Oh! And if your movie-geek buddies ask, yes — it IS named after Keanu Reeves’ character in Point Break.
Georgetown was named “Favorite Brewery” in last year’s Seattle Times Readers Choice Awards.
