Jack Rabbit Slim's
Junkyard Brewing Company
A Note on This Beer
Jack Rabbit Slim’s is a weird, over-the-top ‘50s themed restaurant. John Travolta’s Vincent Vega describes it as “a wax museum with a pulse” in the movie Pulp Fiction.
I bet our boy Vince would have sung a much more praising tune if he got to know today’s much livelier Jack Rabbit Slim’s NEIPA!
This brew is the latest release in Junkyard Brewing’s highly limited Pulp Fiction series. You better believe massively juicy flavors make for an experience infinitely more delightful than being served by a Buddy Holly impersonator.
Those Minnesota nanobrewers positively LOADED this hazy sipper with Citra and Vic Secret Hops! Each sip explodes with pineapple, sweet lemon, and passionfruit flavors, punctuated with a whiff of pine on the finish.
Plus, unlike the movie restaurant’s boozeless but expensive shakes, today’s tasty beverage does come with an 8.7% ABV! Junkyard serves it up in a massive 750ml-sized can, so you might just find yourself breaking out in your own gleeful, Vince and Mia-inspired jive by the end of it.
I’m sure it’d be a trophy-winning dance, too. But, who needs trophies when you have this prize of an IPA that isn’t leaving Minnesota except for right here?

Too bland for how bitter this is - but maybe I didn’t quite drink it fresh enough? All the flavor notes are there if you look for them, but not loud enough to get through the bitterness
Drinks very well, nice hop profile and not too bitter but MUCH better if you can drink it all down while it’s nice and cold
very subtle. don’t let it sit too long, drink it while it’s cold
Junkyard is one of the best breweries people aren't talking about. Locals know, but they deserve national recognition.
Juicy and citrus with a nice mouthfeel.
Nice grapefruit/pineapple driven NE DIPA with Vic Secret and Citra. Time to get your dance on ! Awesome reference to an awesome movie ! Definitely could have this with breakfast.
Can’t go wrong
Juice forward IPA. I have yet to be disappointed by Junkyard.
If Junkyard was in my backyard I'd never have to look for a delicious IPA!
Good thing it's a Pulp fiction tribute beer Cause boy is this beer pulpy and juicy in a fantastic way. Junkyard is quickly becoming one of my favorite breweries. Not to say it isn't without hoppiness as the juiciness up front is backed up by a really nice hoppy finish. Their beer is luscious. Hazy, dank and tropical with notes of pineapple . So delicious you forget it's even a double ipa. Almost creamy. 2 Thumbs Up!
Love this artwork And the beer !! Perfect balance of flavor and abv
I am a fan of junkyard and how well they make they ipas and I had this one sitting on the freezer just for the perfect time. It taste like the perfect amount of tangy and has the right kind of smooth that you’re looking for to drink and not get tired of the same flavor .
Lots of pineapple flavor, super juicy. Should have got more than one can
Effin' Delicious. Hop forward with just the right malt backing and juicy.
Bitter, hoppy, citrus. So good!
Juicy and hazy. Love the can size and art work. Solid beer. Wish I ordered two.
Can size is great. Taste is great as well
I like the story this tells me.
Yeah this was soooo drinkable and smooth for 8.7!
Hi-octane pineapple creamsicle. If it comes available again I will be purchasing again.
Like fresh-squeezed pineapple grapefruit juice.
Straight up smacked me upside the head. Hella boze for not hella money.
Very lemony with citrus notes. Very crushable, good thing is 25 oz! ABV will sneak up on you if you're drinking the whole thing by yourself. Not too noticeable if you go half with a friend
This was absolutely delicious.
It’s ok. Nothing special. Refreshing.
Sweet pineapple and citrus with slight hoppy, piney finish - junkyard is great
Mediocre. Nothing special at all. The ABV shows in the taste.
Flavor of citrus and tropical fruits, sweet bready malts, herbal tea and zesty and earthy hops. Very good NEIPA. Tastes great, drinks easy. Very enjoyable and would drink again.
Love the hoppiness. Great beer!
Citrusy with a mouthfeel that is too thick for the flavor. Definite pineapple on the nose. Weird spicy bite at the end that doesn’t seem to fit right. Fine but nothing special.
That’s a BIG beer with a pretty big flavor. A darn good IPA!!!
Pineapple and pine. Delicious
Another delicious Pulp Fiction inspired juicy IPA. Love this series!
25.4 oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow pour, swirly head. Grapefruit, citrus peel, fruity, tangy bitterness. Pretty standard fare for a NEIPA, but tasty and well balanced.
Juicy pineapple and pine🍺
First neipa I've had from them and wow what a tasty ipa so well rounded
Delightful and packs a real punch
Good IPA no complaints juicy
Clean and smooth for its 8.7% abv
Loved it. Big fan of this brewery and their oversized cans.
