About This Beer
To make their fourth anniversary sparkle, the Texas brew crew took their luscious Imperial Milk Stout and aged it in some very special oak — a blend of Balcones Blue Corn whiskey and Templeton Rye barrels! Then, to make it birthday worthy, they conditioned the brew on cacao nibs, coconut, and top-tier vanilla beans from Madagascar and Uganda.
Tasting Notes
Big fudgy flavors, oodles of silky coconut, and plenty of rich whiskey caramel flavor. That ribbon of vanilla combines with a touch of lactose in the Milk Stout base to create a finish that’s softer than satin pajamas.

Fudge milk chocolate with coconut coffee. Sweet and sticky coconut throughout.

A little odd, somehow neither sweet nor dry, and not packing much flavor for all the adjuncts. Disappointing overall.
