About This Beer
This 14% ABV boozy behemoth is the third brew in the Ingrained series, and it may just be the best one yet. To craft it, the crew aged a rich and complex barleywine base in Balcones Single Malt barrels until it took on spirited nuances of woodspice.
Tasting Notes
Rivers of rich caramel and dried dates wind through every satisfying sip, all held together by a strong, malty backbone. A touch of top-shelf whiskey imparted from the barrel peeks through on the backend, helping smooth out that monster ABV.

As far as barleywine goes I wish I'd cellared this a while longer. It was super vinous, and while some folks like that I'd appreciate a little more caramel character.
