I'm An Alligator DDH IIPA
A Note on This Beer
The brewers at Singlecut canned today’s Imperial IPA on New Year's Eve, and it’s deliciously fresh, but they actually say it will cellar beautifully for a few months!
Don’t believe me? Here it is, straight from the brewery:
“One of our absolute favorite hop-forward Ales to check in on in a few months — tons of decadent orange marmalade and pear juice, still soft and creamy, with a long fruit punch finish.”
How cool is that? An IPA that you can drink now OR later! That means, even if you JUST opened your crate, and you’re not planning on shipping it for a bit, you can pick up a few cans of this brew without worrying about the flavors dropping off.
Or, if you’re taking it easy for January (as so many of us do) you can still fill your fridge with cans of I’m an Alligator DDH IIPA. They’ll be there waiting for you in February.
In other words, there is absolutely no reason not to pick up a stash of this 4.15 UT-rated brew. Seriously, 13,000+ fans on Untappd can’t be wrong.
Of course, if you’re hellbent on drinking this juicebomb ASAP, you’re still in for a treat. All those tropically juicy flavors will be there, but with a bit more tangy peach and pithy resin on the finish.
So whether you’re gonna crack a can of I’m an Alligator the moment it lands on your doorstep, or fill up your fridge and wait for the hop-craving to strike, this beloved NYC IPA won’t let you down. Get enough to do both, and you won’t have to decide!
And for all you music lovers out there, yes, the name is a David Bowie reference.

Looks like OJ. Tastes just as juicy with a surprisingly nice slight bitterness.
