I Don't Feel That I Need To Explain My Art To You, Warren
Stellwagen Beer Company
A Note on This Beer
If you’re one of the many obsessed fans who has repeatedly watched the 1995 cult classic Empire Records, you probably recognized the name of this beer immediately. In fact, you’re probably quoting dialog to yourself right now.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, don’t sweat it — you don’t have to bathe yourself in 90s nostalgia to enjoy this 4.28 UT-rated IPA. It tastes like a blend of fresh squeezed OJ, ripe pineapple, and tropical mango!
@Tayler B. calls it “their best I’ve had,” and @Mike L. agrees, calling this brew “my favorite Stellwagen offering to date!”
That’s high praise for a brewery that’s earned shout outs from The Beer Travel Guide and The Boston Globe for their IPA prowess!
But, if you want to try a sip, you’ll have to beat all the other hazeheads to our little 20 case stash. Then, just glue a bunch of quarters to the carpet and invite some buddies over! And, if you didn’t get that reference, we highly recommend watching Empire Records.
Rated 4.28 on Untappd!

Dees IPA. Fun with a little bitter. Not overly hoppy
Loved the movie. Loved the beer. Just a fantastic hazy.
Not bad, obviously an IPA but not overwhelming hoppiness.
Juicy. Slight bitter back end. 🍻
It’s ok, nothing really stand out. Just another run of the mill NEIPA with no can date included.
Fan of the movie and a fan of the beer. Not overly hoppy like some IPAs
Hazy, floral notes of tropical juice & suble sniffs of Pine, crisp, effervescent, hoppy, citrusy, Mango, and Pineapple fruitiness, vague, drying, resiny bitterness.
