About This Beer

Imagine a fancified sundae made with coffee ice cream, and you’ll have an idea of what Hypnos tastes like. It’s an Imperial Pastry Stout from the craft legends at Mortalis, and it’s chock-full of all the fixins: hazelnuts, marshmallows, coconut, and coffee! All swirled in a chocolate Imperial Stout base, the result is supremely luxurious.

Hypno’s dark chocolate depths are impeccably vibrant. Each impossibly smooth sip cascades with lavish notes of melty vanilla soft serve, fresh espresso, gooey marshmallow cream, and warming Almond Joy before easing into a Nutella-kissed finish.

Amazing. didn't taste at all like I was having a 10% pastry Stout. tasted like I was drinking melted almonds joys, but with the almonds replaced by hazelnut Nutella goodness

I'm not big on pastry stouts so the rating says a lot. It's über thiccc and tastes like heath bar or something. But it's not sickeningly sweet. I could only drink 4 ounces at a time

Sweet chocolate and hazelnut on entrance, then comes creamy marshmallow and vanilla. Develops into caffe mocha. The finish is creamy marshmallow and coconut. Definitely borders on too sweet but didn’t cross the line for me. ⭐️
