About This Beer

Giddy up all you glizzy gobblers, ‘cause it’s a good time to be a hot dog fan! Kicking things off with Independence Day, July is widely known as the unofficial month of the sausage.

To celebrate, the legends at Mortalis teamed up with Costanza Sausage and Dough Boyz Roc to create a Hydra like no other! They loaded this stunning 4.34 UT-rated Sour with pineapple, peach, mango, and jalapeno.

And, believe it or not, this beer was actually infused into a Costanza Sausage and then wrapped up in a Dough Boyz sourdough roll.

Tasting Notes

Now, unless you’re in Upstate New York, you’re probably not gonna get your hands on this mind blowing meat creation. But you can still experience the breathtaking tropical nuances and drippy stone fruit tones coursing through the brew’s smoothie thick body, and taste how the hints of pepper create an incredible depth of flavor.

Really good version of hydra. Sweet but not overly so, and the pepper adds a nice small kick.

Good beer, bright yellow pour, similar to orange juice and tastes like a mimosa. Jalapeno was very small, mostly at end and most taste was pineapple. solid.

the mango pineapple flavor comes through nicely. I ordered this for the spice of the jalapeno. they did a nice job as you get it on the back end of the swallow I feel like without it being overpowering. I love a bit of bite or spice so I would prefer a little more, but overall a really nice balance of sweet and spice

Murky yellow. Nice peach, mango and pineapple aroma and flavor with a slight touch of heat on the finish. Nice balance of flavors; could use a bit more jalapeño. Medium to light bodied fruit smoothie. 🇺🇸🇮🇱
