Peanut Butter Beer is a great flavor. The honey was a tad overpowering for me. But overall it went down smooth and tasted pretty good.
Okay. There isn't quite enough peanut butter or honey for one of them to be the main flavor, and instead it's just kind of... Meh. I totally expected PB and honey to be great but somehow this just isn't.
Not a bad Golden Ale. Certainly sweeter than your average Golden Ale, but appropriately so. The honey really shines, but doesn’t detract from the ale flavors. Not nearly enough peanut butter. I noticed that they used real honey, but peanut butter flavoring, so that must be the case. It’s tasty and an easy drinking beer, but just above average. Could be a touch more bitter for the style.
Getting all of the flavors with this one; a nice golden ale, touch of sweetness from the honey, and subtle peanut butter. Would love more peanut butter!
Meh. Tastes like a very pedestrian ale. I don’t taste anything interesting like PB or honey.
Did not taste hints of honey nor peanut butter but was smooth.
Really loved this one! Just enough peanut butter taste but more smooth honey comes through. So happy I have another one!
Smooth, flavorful, peanut butter and honey.
Smooth and light taste of peanut a sweet taste left behind
FUCKING DELISH. It hit the spot of this nice clean peanut butter and honey taste. Nothing overboard but there until the very end
Light and airy peanut butter flavor, balanced out with a little touch of sweet from the honey.
I didn't taste the peanut butter but the honey flavor was very prevalent, not in a bad way though. I just wish it had more of a crisp bite to it. All in all not bad though
Didn't taste any peanut butter maybe some honey but just tasted like a less bitter beer to me
One of the most enjoyable beers I have ordered. Tastes like a spoonful of peanut butter, no bad after taste. Extremely enjoyable and light.
nice and easy to drink with a subtle peanut butter taste
Not a bad beer. Didn’t taste the peanut butter and honey at first. It took a few sips to start tasting the combo. It tasted like a topical Budweiser or Coors beer in a can. But the flavors kicked in after about 25% after can was started on. Mellow and not over powering. Honey I guess was giving it sweetness. Not bad.
Crisp and refreshing easy drink good honey flavor
Loved this. Absolutely delicious. Reminded me of the Blue Moon salted pretzel beer from years back but the upscale version.
Delicious! I can definitely taste the peanut butter and the honey. As someone who had peanut butter and honey sandwiches as part of my childhood, this is another favorite now.
I thought it would be thick and heavy. It was surprisingly light which made it very drinkable. Hints of peanuts and honey, a great summer beer.
Very nutty. Goes down smooth.
Tastes like peanut butter crunch. It was so good!
Very nutty and smooth, more on the peanut side than the honey side. Very nice sip
One of the best beers I have had from Tavour. It goes down easy and not too heavy with the PB or honey.
Ordered from Tavour in a pint can. Chilled and poured into an imperial pint glass. Look: Carmel colored. Thin quarter sized tan head that hung a while, leaving a nice but small layer of foam and a light tan laving down the glass as we drank. Smell: Smell isn’t too over the top in terms of the ingredients. We get a little honey (very light), but in the nose we do not get peanut butter. Malt is the main character in the nose. Taste: light peanut butter first, followed by a hint of honey in the middle, then big malt that trails and lingers. Feel: Light feel, medium carbonation, smooth finish (I am guessing from the lactose). Overall pretty average beverage Somewhat refreshing given the honey and light peanut butter notes. We usually don’t go for beers that have things like “peanut butter flavoring” so we don’t have a lot to compare to.. The lack of peanut butter to a peanut butter and honey sandwich intent is somewhat disappointing. Cheers.
reminded me of a cream ale. very tasty and smooth.. not too thick. really enjoyed this one
Was a lot crisper than I was anticipating which is nice, but the peanut butter and honey wasn’t too prevalent. Would probably pair well with a charcuterie. Would buy again
Distinct honey flavor and sweetness, not too heavy, nice brown color. Tastes like Golden Grahams, for real.
Nice for a ale!
Low note perpetuates throughout the taste canvass
Too sweet/ not my jam.
Traditional blond with peanut butter. Nice.
Worth drinking...honey w/peanut butter notes
Peanut butter beer but kind of light and refreshing, I was pleasantly surprised. The peanut butter is more noticeable on the finish
You can taste the peanut butter for sure. It’s my second favorite peanut butter ale (I’ve only had 2)
Fun beer would be great floating in the pool.
Was a little disappointed only tasted like bread crumbs
Very light peanut butter and honey, nice golden ale regardless.
Honey and peanut butter
Wheat and grain come through strong, PB and honey flavors are pretty subtle
Smells slightly like peanut butter, light taste
100/10, this is the one. Golden ales are my go too, and I will order this 100,000x
Toasty peanuts with a mildly sweet honey in the background
Just the right amount of peanut butter. Still a fairly light beer. Probably my favorite PB beer.
Huge peanut butter nose with peanut butter cracker taste and dry finish.
A little too much peanut butter for me
Medium peanut butter on nose and palette, which was perfectly suited for a light ale like this.
Tastes like a golden ale with honey, and then the Peanut Butter hits.
Smooth light peanut honey taste
I get the honey flavor, but not heavy with the peanut butter, was expecting more.
Honey sweetness dominates. Not getting much peanut butter.
Strong peanut butter smell. Super smooth and light.
Really smooth peanut butter taste
I like honey and I like beer. I am always on the look out for a beer with honey flavor that isn’t overpowered by the beer itself and this one is great.
Tastes like peanut butter honey sandwich for sure
You can smell peanut butter from this one The taste is amazing, smooth, flavours of peanut butter and honey Really enjoyed this one
Peanut butter and honey sandwich with rich wheat bread
Mostly nutty with a bit of yeast on the nose. Hints of sweet honey, but not at all cloying. Really biscuity in the middle giving way to roasted peanuts & a little vanilla sweetness towards the end. It really does taste like a peanut butter honey sandwich!
definitely a roasted peanut taste. still light and crisp. not as creamy as you may get in a stout but there’s a touch of it.
light tasting but enough to get those notes of peanut butter with a touch of sweet in there!
Very light and refreshing. Could stand for some stronger flavors.
Really surprised by this one. Lots of peanut butter in a smooth finish. Would buy again.
The aroma of peanut butter is super welcoming, beautiful color & head out of the can. The actual flavor of peanut butter & honey was mild compared to what I was hoping to taste though. It’s definitely light & malty. Very enjoyable if you’re in the mood for a nutty day beer.
With sweet notes from the honey this ale is enjoyable if you are a fan of sweet drinks, it has a thick mouthfeel which I feel pays homage to its namesake and the idea of a peanut butter and honey sandwich. A fun brew to try if you’re a fan of sweet ones.
This was dry honey forward, but still got the peanut butter aftertaste. Really enjoyed this one!
Very yeasty with more honey than peanut butter, but either of those are only slightly noticeable in this beer (and since this isn't a dessert beer, that's a good thing).
very smooth and great flavor.
good peanut butter flavor
Great golden ale, nicely balanced with a good honey taste.
