About This Beer
Previously limited to their elite Hoarders Society members, this 4.39 UT-rated showstopper started as a winning blend from The Bruery’s annual Hoarders Society blending competition. There, VIP attendees got to mix barrel aged beers to their taste, demonstrating their own sophisticated palates and knowledge before a winning mix was selected by the brewery. The 2025 vintage combines Stouts aged in rye barrels and bourbon barrels, along with Weller bourbon barrel-aged Stout co-fermented with Cabernet grapes and Petite Sirah grapes, and tequila barrel-aged agave Wheatwine Ale.
Tasting Notes
Look forward to an incredibly complex and delicious flavor profile, with caramel-covered raisin and vinous wine grape tones flowing into malty toffee and fudgy milk chocolate. Layers of agave, oaky tannins, and oaky-vanilla should linger long after the sip, leaving behind barely any trace of the 15.3% ABV.
